At ABNT Global, sustainability is at the heart of our mission. We are committed to developing innovative solutions that address clean water access, renewable energy, and climate resilience, particularly for Native and Indigenous communities in East Malaysia, especially in Sabah. Many rural villages in Sabah lack reliable access to clean drinking water and stable electricity, making daily life challenging for these communities.

To bridge this gap, ABNT Global has introduced Nano Water Treatment Plants powered by Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). These compact, off-grid water purification systems are designed to provide safe, drinkable water to Native communities living in remote and rural areas of Sabah, where traditional infrastructure is limited. By leveraging solar energy and battery storage, our solutions ensure continuous water purification without reliance on fossil fuels or unstable power grids. This initiative significantly improves health, sanitation, and overall quality of life, empowering Indigenous and rural populations with sustainable, long-term solutions.
